This amazing torso from 1963 was destined to be part of Cowboy Kate but at the last moment the opposing image in the spread was rejected and so this image, arguable one the best of the project, was rejected by default. It survived as a single damaged print which has been digitally restored for this limited edition.
Super rare, previously unpublished gem from the Sam Haskins archive. Supplied with handmade solid Ash frame (to Sam’s design) stained black and waxed. The print is mounted using museum grade archival materials including 8-ply cotton rag for the passepartout and Art Care® backing board . Cost of custom made frame and matching crate plus insurance and shipping are FREE when ordering directly from the estate. Usually galleries add on hefty additional charges for all these costs.
Printed in-house on the classic matt Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm paper. The results are sumptuous.

A facsimile of Sam’s signature is printed recto alongside the edition number in pencil.
