These two images are both from the Cowboy Kate project but do not appear as a pair/diptych/spread in the book. The figure on the left is Kate in a humble, introspective and intimate moment from the main story of Cowboy Kate & Other Stories and the figure on the right is a hauty arrogant Rosie, the Card Cheat, who get’s shot in the saloon for her deceiptful behaviour in the card game, a murder for which Kate is falsely accused.
