These are genuinely limited (one size only and seven prints only - no artist’s proofs) based on negatives which the estate have found in Sam’s archive or in one case a single damaged print. To the best of our knowledge these images have never appeared in a book or been made into prints prior to the offering of this very tightly controlled limited edition prints. The estate provide a signed pledge with each print that the image will never be used in another run at a different scale or with different media. This sets an unusually high bar compared to other estates and living photographers. In other words, these limited edition prints provide both photographic treasure and are truly limited.
