From the main story of ‘Cowboy Kate & Other Stories’ 1964. Sam explored the jail sequence with some obvious visual clues but went completely abstract and humourous with this image.
SIZE: Media: 40.50cm X 51.40cm (15.94” x 20.23”), Image: 40.00cm X 51.40cm (15.74” x 20.23”)
CONDITION: Very good. Single weight silver gelatin true vintage. Image and print 1963. Some feint surface scratches commensurate with age and handling. Crease in top left hand corner which spills onto the image by 4mm (about a 1/6th of an inch) see close up image of damage. Some feint lines of glue marks verso which have not damaged the image at all.
RARITY: One of seven prints, all vintage all very good condition.
